Nude Nudes

So, Spring is nearly here!! I love loveeee LOVE checking out new collections designers and high street stores alike have to offer us for Spring. And Spring means an entirely different wardrobe. Well, nearly. :)
Staples from our Winter wardrobes are to be well forgotten. Those leather thigh high boots, jumper dresses and woolly scarves are soon to be a thing of the past :)
Until November at least :)
One of my favourite colours this coming season is nudes.
From earthy nudes to pale pinks, these suble shades are to take centre stage this Spring. They are so soft and feminine, they will add a touch of sweet, innocent and girly to any womans wardrobe.
To me, Spring time means romance, and nude colours just scream romance.

Yum :)

Products Im Using Right Now

I don't mean like im wearing all these products simultanously like RIGHT NOW, just at the moment these are the products I use :) Ha I think about stuff waaaaay too much.
Anymawho, yeah I saw this on DangerouslyBeauty's Blog and haaaaad to do it :)
Here goesss!

Shampoo: L'Oreal Elvive Colour Protect Shampoo - As much as I dislike Cheryl Cole, I do love this shampoo.

Conditioner: L'Oreal Elvive Colour Protect Conditioner - Only a wee bit on the ends! If I apply to my whole head, my hair becomes an oil slick. Eww.

Shower gel: Boots Mediterranean Almond Wheatgerm and Milk Body Wash - Smells nice!

Styling products: John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Fixation Smoothing Creme - Due to my hairs naturally kinky/wavy nature, this does exactly the trick. No need for the ol GHD. Still use it though. Gar. Anddd : John Frieda Frizz Ease Curl Reviver Styling Mousse - I do love curly hair.

Body moisturizer: Bodyshop Coconut Body Butter. - Nostalgia kicks in here. Coconut always reminds me of holidays. Mm.

Deodorant: Dove Go Fresh Grapefruit and Lemongrass. So fresh and so clean clean

Fake Tan: Right now its Doves Summer Glow Body Lotion. My all time fave is L'Oreal Sumblime Bronze. Mental note: Must buy more of that.

Foundation: Revlon Colourstay in 150 Buff. Lasts all day and I love it!

Cleanser: Neutrogena Visibly Clear Wash and Mask - More recently though Ive been experimenting with the Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Range.

Exfoliator: Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Exfoliating Scrub!

Primer: Eyes: Estée Lauder's Stay In Place Eyeshadow Base - at €18 Im forcing myself to love it. Lasts ages though!

Foundation Brush: MAC 187. I really didnt think it could ACTUALLY be that good, but it really is.

Powder: MAC Studio Fix Powder. A Light Dusting !

Concealer: Im outta concealer atm! Bags under the eyes alert! Mental note: Buy Studio Finish Concealer!

Lipstick: Maybelline Ambre Rose - So so wearable.

Lipgloss: MACs Dazzleglass in Phiff! Don't like Dazzleglasses because of their stickiness, but Ive been reaching for this one quite alot.

Ins and Outs; Jan 2010

Ive seen bloggers do these sort of things and I love reading them. I love to rant full stop so I thought I'd do these too :) This wont just be about fashion, more kind of my life. Ha. Fashion is a big part of my life so it will be included obv :)
Anyways Im rambling.

  • Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy Perfume - My god this is amazing. I usually purchase non-celeb perfumes but I got this as an xmas present and so I forced myself to wear it.
Many people have tried comparing this to different things, vanilla, cotton candy etc. I know exactly what it smells like. Anyone remember those fizzy cola lollies?? Thats exactly what it smells like. And I love it. I could eat myself up I smell so good!
  • Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Skincare Products - I recently went to Boots and found that these products were 2 for €7.50 so I bought a few. I got the foaming facewash, the exfoliating scrub, the nose pore strips and the peel off facemask. And they are amazing! My face feels so nourished and clean afterwards.
  • MAC Studio Fix Powder plus Foundation - This has gotten rave reviews. And it does exactly what it says on the tin. Full coverage, non drying, no need to even wear foundation! It lasts all day too. Any foundation/powder that doesnt need to be touched up during the day gets a yes vote from me.

  • Tweed Blazers - Vintage tweed blazers. Ive gotten my hands on a few different vintage tweed blazers recently and I cant stop wearing them. Theres just something about them that makes me not want to take them off! Aaaaaah.
  • Neutral Heels - Pale pink and nude patent heels are enough to set off any dreary black outfit, and make it seem fun and sophisticated. Lovves it.

Everything Else

  • Boiled Eggs - These are a godsend. So so addictive. Ive been having one every morning the last while and I know its bad for you and all that but when I dip my toastie soldier into that soft gooey sunshine yellow yolk and it bursts out over my egg cup I get a fuzzy feeling inside.
  • Exams are over! - yay!!! Had my exams in college this week and I now have two weeks off. I don't know what to be doing with myself. Any ideas?

  • Tanning -Im getting sick of it at this point. I've been using Doves Summer Glow Body Lotion the last while and although I loved it at first, I loathe it right now. Im all streaky and horrible and I cant make it go away! I have had much practice applying tan to myself the last few years, perfecting a streak free application, but why now does it all go wrong?
  • My foundation bursting all over my makeup bag - Hello! Revlon Colourstay is in a GLASS bottle! What the hell happened?! Now my lovely miniature brushes and lipglasses are ruined :(

  • Suede Boots getting soaked in this weather - Ruined. Just ruined!
  • Being outbid on a MUST HAVE item on ebay - it was a MUST HAVE! A gorgeous hot pink and black checked vintage blazer.. It was so beautiful! And now I am so sad.
  • Ladders in yer tights - Why does it always happen? WHY!

Everything Else

  • Gaining like half a stone from nowhere - The scales lie! Either that or I seriously need to get my jog on.
  • Unemployment - No money, no new things!

Woop! Ciao for now :)

Cute to Boot Accessories

I love love looooove accessories. Accessories really and truly are a girl's best friend. Accessories can transform a plain dull outfit into something feminine, sexy and sophisticated. I love the rush you get when that happens. Pull on your jeans, add a checked shirt and boots, and then throw on a scarf, add some bangles and a cute bag and you look completely different.

The thing I love more than accessories are VINTAGE and RETRO accessories. is THE best website for vintage accessories in my opinion. They are undeniably adorable. The second I access this website Im working out ways to steal my dads credit card so I can buy the lot. The cute necklaces and earrings give me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. They sell accessories that are so unique and cannot be found in any shops here. Urban Outfitters would be the closest thing to it, similarity wise, but the range on this site is so so SO much better.

These are a few things on my wishlist at the mo:

Mmmmmmmm :D
