New Hair and FOTD

Hello lovelies!
So I had a bit of a hair disaster last night. I decided to dye my hair a darker brown because the brown my hair was wasnt actually my natural colour and the roots were on full display. phew!

So I dyed it the 'Natural Dark Brown" from Nice & Easy.
I have tried many many brands of home dying hair colours and I quite like this one. Also because it was 2 for €11 in Boots but more on that later.

I was shocked to find that when I rinsed, it was BLACK. Dark dark black. I haven't had black hair since I was about 16, and im naturally reaaaaally pale, so I was not happy. Its actually Jet Black! OMG.

Anyways, I was a bit unhinged as I wanted everything to be perfect for my 21st which is this weekend :)

I woke up this morning and slapped on a bitta tan, and I instantly felt better.
The colour seems to look better with a tan than my pasty skin!
Note to self: Book Spray Tan tomorrow.

Anywho, here is what it looks like. Im not gonna try lighten it, I think I'll just work with it.

Agh! Im still undecided after seeing that pic, ha obv wearing black doesnt help.

Aoife needs Help!

Hi guys! So heres the lowdown.

My 21st birthday is in 2 weeks time and Im having a totally fabulous party to celebrate :)
Problem is, I am having serious difficulties in trying to find a dress that will WOW.
I want it to be formal-ish, but not so formal that I look like im going to my debs/prom :P
I also want it to reflect me as a person and show my sophisticated side :) I don't just want any ol thing :)

I have looked in shops such as Topshop, River Island, Oasis, Awear, Warehouse, and Miss Selfridge with no luck! I just havent found anything I am tote happy with.

Are there any places that you guys know of that sell nice dresses?! Remember if its an online place I need to know quick as I only have two weeks for them to deliver!

Your help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Virtual Makeover from Topshop

Hello my sweets!

So if youre an avid Topshop fan like myself you'll know that Topshop released their very own Makeup line yesterday. I was interested to hear reviews and such before I went to try out their products, because I really did not want to be wasting my moola on makeup that wasn't great yano?!

If youre a fan of Topshop on Facebook, you may have been updated that their website only moments ago launched a Virtual Makeover application. (Yes Im on the ball!)

It allows you to upload a picture of yourself and test out the makeup on your face to see what colours suit! Its quite ingenious really. So I had some fun with it and voila!

It was I think €19 from Primark. I love love love the combo of lace and florals.
And yes, I know I keep wearing this cardi but it seriously goes with everything!

April Ins and Outs

Hello sweets, apologies for lack of posts, I really just haven't been feeling the best and am in dire need of a big hug! :(

For this months ins and outs I am going to compile them altogether because a) I am a teeny weeny bit lazy and b) organisation was never my strong point. :)

INS

• Cleaning and re-organising my 'vanity'. Actually no its my dressing table. I despise the word 'vanity'. Anywho :) I sorted it all out and realised I need a bigger storage area for skincare and makeup in particular. Must get on that soon.
• DIY Lip Scrub - Sugar and olive oil is all you need and it gets rid of dry flaky skin on the lips to make them look nice again :)
• Fixed my GHD! Halleluiah.
• Skin Spritz's - My personal faves are No.7's Really Reviving Skin Spritz and Evian's Face Mist, perfect for that dewy refreshed "im never tired" look.
• Simple Breakfasts - Tasty and delicious, and whipped up in a flash. Poached eggs on toast and tropical fruit salad are just the ticket to get set up for the day.
• Planning my 21st :) So much to do but I love it!
• Ricecakes - OMG

OUTS

• Lack of money to buy necessities - Yes mom a €33 foundation IS a neccessity! :P
• End of college exams! - HATE HATE HATE!
• Im leaving Ireland for the summer! Although im excited I may not have internet access for youtube vids/blog posts etc.. GAH!
• Contantly feeling lethargic/run down.. What is wrong with me?!?!
• Clogged pores - Seriously peeving me off.
